We were blessed to be able to purchase a custom home that was designed and built by Ken Taub. Eight years after moving into our home we are still amazed at the design, beauty and functionality of our home. The quality of the materials Ken selected has proven to be a great investment. Our home feels and operates as if it were brand new.
When new homes are being built in our neighborhood those home owners are coming to our house to get ideas on what they would like their homes to be and they make repeated trips back to take additional notes.
We often think of Ken standing on the bare lot of land for hours imagining how to best utilize the views and needs for each room. He bent our house in the middle a barely perceptible 15% that made an enormous difference and increased the value of our home. Ken is a creative genius. His & Her separate baths in the Master Bedroom? We are spoiled….

We could not have been more pleased with the exquisite home Ken designed and built for us in Santa Barbara. Ken maximized the expansive views expertly in what was a very challenging site at the top of a ridge. He had to build an enormous amount of infrastructure just to get to the site.
We love the open design of our home and most spaces face the ocean. Our home included many custom items that Ken developed. We really love our huge sliding glass pocket doors that maximize our views and opens up our living area to the ocean. Ken also incorporated a beautiful theatre and wine cellar.
We had fallen in love with Ken’s work on other estate homes in the area. We found that working with Ken was a pleasure because of his creativity, friendly and honest nature, professionalism, work ethic and tenacity.
